Location: Archer (TX)

Archer County is a county located in U.S. state of Texas.  As of the 2010 census, its population was 9,054.  Archer City is the county seat.  Archer County was founded in 1858 and organized in 1880.  It is named for Branch Tanner Archer, a commissioner for the Republic of Texas.
